NATURE COAST EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES CITRUS COUNTY, FLORIDA
GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
A paramedic protects life and property in compliance with local, state and federal policies and procedures. Performs emergency medical techniques (Advanced Life Support) and patient care procedures, responds to disasters and other emergencies, and maintains department equipment, apparatus and station. Participates in EMS awareness activities and training to improve public education and information of the Emergency Medical Services. Drives and/or operates emergency response apparatus. On call 24 hours pending disaster. Classified as "Essential Personnel" during declared states of emergency. Work is performed under the general supervision of the station Lieutenant.

NATURE COAST EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES CITRUS COUNTY, FLORIDA
GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
The Logistics Specialist (Soft Equipment) is primarily responsible for overseeing the procurement, warehousing, monitoring, tracking, accountability, and distribution of medical supplies, along with procurement distribution, cleaning, repair, replacement and accountability of uniforms. Also, assist as needed with duties of the Logistics Specialist (Hard Equipment), as applies to equipment, vehicles, and facilities. The Logistics Specialist reports to the Operations Chief, and is classified as “Essential Personnel” during declared states of emergency. Individuals may perform other duties as assigned, including working in other functional areas to cover absences or relief, to equalize peak work periods, or otherwise balance the workload.
Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; Valid Florida Drivers License; EVOC (will be required to obtained if not currently certified); Competent Computer Skills (Microsoft Word/Excel).

Required: Valid State of Florida certified EMT in accordance with 401.27 Florida Statutes. Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, EVOC or equivalent, documented three hour AIDS training certification and an insurable Florida Class E Drivers License.

NATURE COAST EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES CITRUS COUNTY, FLORIDA
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
A Baker Act driver is responsible for transporting designated patients from a hospital to a treatment facility in accordance with Florida Statute. Transports may be required at any time of day or night. Oversees and is directly responsible for the patient entrusted. Work is performed under the general supervision of the EMS Chief. Complies with EMS policies and procedures, as well as Chapter 394, Part I of the Florida Statutes and 65E-5 of the Florida Administrative Code.
Required:Valid State of Florida certified First Responder; Current BLS for Healthcare Provider certification; and an insurable Florida Class “D” Drivers License.
